Alzheimer's Community Care (ACC) was founded in 1996 by a group of local residents in Florida, who were concerned about the growing number of people affected by Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders. There were no specialized treatment services available locally, nor was any organization dedicated exclusively to helping individuals and their caregivers with dementia. In response to this need, Mr. Donald Baxter dedicated financial resources and gathered a group of local donors, caregivers and community leaders to establish a not-for-profit agency named Alzheimer’s Community Care of Palm Beach and Martin Counties.
Each year, ACC hosts several fundraising events to better provide a safety-net for all patients, caregivers and their families living with the unfortunate effects Alzheimer's and other related nuerocognitive disorders, each and every day. The Palm Beach Luncheon & Fashion, which is scheduled for Thursday, February 18th, 2016 at the Four Seasons Resort, Palm Beach, hopes to raise awareness and much needed funds in support of this mission and to better equip those in the community with the much needed knowedge, tools and resources to help those impacted by the disease live a happy and healthier life.
Please join us by purchasing a ticket to the event, considering becoming a sponsor or make a donation in the way of an auction item to be used in this portion of our exciting event day.
