The historical society of Palm Beach County is set to welcome the troops for Armed Forces Day. This free event, designed to entertain and inform all ages, honors our nation?s military history and county veterans. Visitors will learn about Palm Beach County?s role in our nation?s war efforts and local battles fought on native soil. Throughout the day visitors will pass through a front-line camp, interact with Seminole War, Civil War, WWII and Vietnam War re-enactors; inspect an actual M274 Mule all-terrain vehicle, decorate cards to be mailed to soldiers overseas, join in docent-led gallery talks and more!
