Body Language and Words Impact Leadership in Palm Beach County:
Panel of Women Leaders Discuss Power in 2016
PowHerful Leadership - February 24, 2016 at Tin Fish
The Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County is asking Palm Beach County’s most influential women to share insight on how gender impacts perceptions of power and leadership in 2016. Women across the county will gather at the Women’s Foundation of Palm Beach County’s quarterly professional development event to gain new skills that will help their careers. From discussing the power of words and how they impact our career and life to the influence of body language in the workplace and how to stand out in your career in order to get ahead, the event is expected to be lively and full of surprises.
Americans believe women are qualified for leadership positions, but recognize barriers still persist, according to a Pew Research Center survey. In fact, 4 in 10 Americans point to a double standard that requires women to go further to prove themselves.
