About Us

We provide a full-time day program with comprehensive services to enable clients to maximize their potential and live with fulfillment and joy. HabCenter offers a fully integrated response to client needs by providing comprehensive, individually tailored vocational training, supported employment, and wrap-around services. Through these activities, clients improve mental and physical health, expand skills sets and knowledge, build friendships, and make progress towards greater independence. Client-centered programs offered at the HabCenter: Supported vocational training and opportunity; Comprehensive behavioral education and support; Comprehensive Programs in Education, Arts, and Recreation (P.E.A.R.). HabCenter serves approximately 240 adults with lifelong developmental disabilities such as Autism, Bipolar Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Epilepsy, Intellectual Disability, Schizophrenia, Spina Bifida, and Tourette’s syndrome. Many of our recent achievements include: Providing 145 clients with work opportunity and training through HABCO Manufacturing. Providing 25 clients with work opportunity and training through our Plant Nursery. We placed clients in various jobs throughout the community, such as Publix, West Boca Medical Center, Smokey Bones BBQ, Sweet Tomatoes and SA Company. In March 2019, HABCO Manufacturing was awarded as “Manufacturer of the Year,” by the South Florida Manufacturers Association (SFMA); In May 2019, HABCO Manufacturing was awarded with the “Governor’s Sterling Award for Manufacturing Business Excellence,” a prestigious, state-wide award.
