Jones Foster’s Community Involvement Program Raises Funds for Local Nonprofit Loggerhead

Jones Foster raised funds for a local nonprofit, Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC), as the result of its first annual “JF Impact Week”, a component of its community involvement program, Jones Foster Impact.

LMC in Juno Beach was chosen by employees as the recipient of this year’s week-long fundraising efforts. The agenda of activities and events included raffles, contests, games, and a food truck, all designed to generate awareness and support for the organization while offering employees the opportunity to have fun and make an impact in the community.

The Firm’s Shareholders and staff assembled at the West Palm Beach offices for the final event of the week during which raffle and contest winners were announced and prizes distributed. The total amount raised was matched by a Firm donation and a check was presented by Shareholder Peter Sachs to the Loggerhead Marinelife Center executives, Pam Dyar and Claire Wilson.

Loggerhead Marinelife Center promotes the conservation of ocean ecosystems with a special focus on threatened and endangered sea turtles. They are a leading authority, locally and internationally, in ocean conservation via sea turtle research, rehabilitation, and educational programs.
